For four generations the De Stefani family has had a passion for grape vine growing and the art of producing fine wines.
On this old tradition we base our concept of vineyard and wine. This comes from the firm conviction that only in the vineyard you can find the pre-requisites for the quality of a wine that then becomes excellent with careful vinification.
This philosophy was born in the Colvendrame® estate in Refrontolo in Veneto with Valeriano De Stefani, first generation of vine growers, in the second half of 1800 and has continued with his son Valeriano, second generation. This vineyard is located in the heart of the hilly area between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, north of Treviso and Venice, where part of the wines refine in underground cellars.
Then Tiziano De Stefani, who represents the third generation, added the Pra' Longo® estate in Monastier di Treviso and the Le Ronche® estate in Fossalta di Piave, both in Veneto, north-east of Venice. In the Le Ronche® estate vinification, ageing and the sales centre of the company are located.
Now Tiziano manages the vineyards and the winery with his son Alessandro, fourth generation, and their work is focused on the achievement of an even higher quality of their grapes and wines.
