Duas Quintas is a lovely place, quiet, well situated, super clean rooms, and, thanks to the most friendly owners, we felt with friends from the very first moment. If you want to discover the beautiful inner country side of the Algarve like we did, Duas Quintas is an excellent starting point. We'll come back! (koen uvin)

The ultimate bucolic bliss

Everything is pleasant at Duas Quintas: the décor, the pool, the pool area. Every detail is taken care of. Breakfasts are great. There are coffee and tea making facilities in the rooms and a well stocked "studio" if you choose to self cater. Mary and Les are the most caring hosts and they will not only look after you, but also offer valuable advice and guidance, as well as maps, books, and everything you might need. Even the dogs will treat you like family!

The quinta sits in the midst of citric groves, in an ideal position to benefit at all times from the Algarve's wonderful glow. Flowers, plants and trees border the building, pool area and sloping lanes. You might enjoy wandering around, picking (according to the season) figs, oranges or pomegranates while discovering the region's bountiful fruit crops. Fantastic cove beaches lie about 20 minutes away by car, and the nearest city, Silves, is as pretty as a jewel, wrapped in the golden light and dominated by moorish ramparts. (cecilia & rex)

Five star hospitality

An excellent place to stay. A few miles outside Silves in easy reach of the beaches. It's just been modernised and refurnished so all the rooms are in very good condition with lots of extras. tea and coffee facilities are good to have in the rooms. Beer and wine can be bought from the fridge. The studio has most things young families need.



Best for us was the welcome we had from Les and Mary the hosts. They provided lots of information on the area and were ready to help if problems arose. It's very good for people who do not know the area well or are not confident in travelling or customs in the area. They gave good advice on places to see and eat.



It's a quiet location good for walking. It is very peaceful around the pool and easy to relax. The only people that won't enjoy it are those who want a noisy holiday with lots of discos or night clubs close by.

Encantadora visita

Ha sido una pasada. La casa rural muy bonita y acogedora. El desayuno, familiar. La casa está a 6 kms de silves y es preciso el coche. Mary es encantadora y sus indicacones son muy útiles. No os perdais las playas de la costa vicentina y el cabo de san vicente y sagres. Es una excursion de 200 kms desde silves, pero merece la pena. (jennifer de la torre)

una maravilla por descubrir

Una casa maravillosa por el encanto de las personas que la llevan. La acogida, la estancia y el trato es una alegria mas para añadir a las vacaciones. El entorno muy cuidado y muy agradable, un sitio para olvidarte del estres y vivir con desconocidos como si de amigos intimos se tratase. (juan moreno)

Excelente acogida

Mary y Les te hacen encontrarte enseguida en casa y se preocupan de cada detalle de tu estancia. Sus desayunos son únicos, donde todos los días hay sorpresas y pan recien hecho por Mary. Los alrededores son muy cuidados. A parte, el entorno es único. Creo que vale la pena pasar unos días alli. Te encantarán. (ruth martínez pérez)

Una estancia perfecta en el centro del Algarve

Los dueños son una gente maravillosa, nunca me sentí tan bien atendido en ningún sitio como con la familia británica que regenta la casa. Está rodeada de centeares de naranjos , mandarinos y limoneros que dan a la finca un aroma dulce y relajante. Tienen todo tipo de servicios disponibles para el cliente y no paran de aconsejarte que les indiques cualquier cosa que necesites o quieras para hacer todo lo posible por conseguirtelo, con la mejor de las sonrisas y con un trato fraternal que te hace sentir como en tu propia casa. Las habitaciones tienen su calefacción y aire condicionado en perfecto estado, los servicios son grandes y recién reformados, como el resto del complejo, cuya reforma datará del 2006 como mucho. Entienden español con las limitaciones de cualquier otro portugués, ya que son bilingues portugués-inglés.

Silves está en el centro del Algarve y muy cerca de la intersección delas tres autovías mas importantes de la zona. Cualquier punto del Algarve en menos de 40 minutos (israel)
