I greatly admire the red wines from this producer, and shall review then in due course. Thinking to try their white I was frankly rather disappointed. Perhaps the Minervois is better suited to those rich reds, now becoming very fashionable.
A blend of Maccabeu, Grenache Blanc and Marsanne, I wondered why they bothered, and shall go and ask them one day. Pleasantly light and slightly flowery, it was not a proper match for the grilled garlic cream oysters I served with it.
