Very nice bouquet with fruits, smoke and some sweet.
Full-bodied, medium-long aftertaste but the alcohol is not enough integrated and giving a slightly aggressive tasting.
The profile of the wine is also a bit rustic and lacking elegance

Made with Syrah and a very small percentage of Viognier, with the clear objective of replicating in Portugal the best Nothern Rhône wines. The oak is now more integrated than in previous tastings, the nose shows intense fruit (raspberry), quite mature, well defined and very yummy. The body is more delicate and fresh than the nose, with good structure, balance, refined tanins and with a long aftertaste. Excellent wine, perfect with seared duck breast with berry sauce. Drinking perfectly now, it might gain more complexity with a few more years ageing, though I might be willing to kill my last bottle while still in this gorgeous phase.

Much better than the 2006. Though getting closer, it's not quite as complex, refined and elegant as a top Condrieu - after the ones I tasted from Yves Cuilleron and François Villard it makes the battle difficult for the Portuguese Viognier, even though the prices are not the same neither.
Still a pretty good Viognier with a nice nose, full-bodied and very agreable.

I've been rather disappointed by this Viognier, too jammy, too heavy fruit, too strong and too much on the alcohol. I cannot say the wine is bad but it's definitely not much to my liking.

Nice red fruit, round, silky with good body, easy, a nice Syrah pretty much on the fruit.
