Taste: Concentrated, rich in good quality tannins, very complex, with a “bouquet” of ripe red berries, mingled with wood which gives the wine a subtle vanilla note.
Final Notes: A very long lasting and persistent aftertaste. (t° 16-18° )

Dedicated to wine production for four generations, Casa Ermelinda Freitas possesses 130 hectares (320 acres) of vinyard of which 100 hectares (247 acres) are of the castelão variety, known in the area as Periquita.
