About the winery
Situated
between the lands of Tierra de Barros and Matanegra in Extremadura, our
Wine Cellar is in the province’s area with the greatest wine-growing
tradition.
Founded in 1963 and associated to the Denomination of Origin Ribera del
Guadiana, we modernised our wine cellar in the mid-90s, in terms of
both human resources and installations, with a view to ensuring a top
quality product for our clients.
Our cellar has almost 2000 ha of vineyards, distinguished for our white
Eva/Beba variety. Native to Extremadura, and long-forgotten for being a
table wine grape, we have selected the oldest and most suitable vines
with highest wine-making potential to achieve one of the best
appreciated white wines of Extremadura.
Where our reds are concerned, we grow principally Tempranillo, the
Spanish grape par excellence, which combines to perfection with other
varieties such as Cabernet or Garnacha, offering aromas and tastes
inherent to Extremadura, additionally producing wines that are
excellently suitable for evolving and aging in casks.

Situados en Extremadura,
entre las comarcas de Tierra de Barros y Matanegra, nuestra Bodega se
haya la zona de mayor tradición vitivinícola de Extremadura.
Fundada en 1963, y acogida a la D.O. Ribera del Guadiana, nuestra
bodega se ha modernizado desde mediados de los años 90, tanto en
recursos humanos como en instalaciones, con el objeto de poder
garantizar a nuestros clientes un producto de la máxima calidad.
Nuestra bodega posee casi 2000 Ha. de viñedos propios, entre los que
destaca nuestra variedad blanca Eva/Beba. Autóctona de Extremadura, y
olvidada durante mucho tiempo por ser usada como uva de mesa, hemos
seleccionado los viñedos más antiguos y con mayor potencial y aptitudes
vitivinícolas para conseguir uno de los vinos blancos más apreciados de
Extremadura.
En cuanto a nuestras variedades tintas, vendimiamos principalemente la
Tempranillo, uva española por excelencia, que combina a la perfección
con otras variedades como la Cabernet o la Garnacha, dando unos aromas
y gustos propios de Extremadura, siendo además unos vinos con
excelentes aptitudes para su evolución y crianza en barrica.
