About the winery

Viña Tarapacá was founded in 1874, at the foot of the Andes Mountains, making wines that are a reflection of its over a hundred-year-old tradition and contemporary elegance.

Our vineyards are located in Maipo Valley, the most traditional valley in Chile which also has the best qualities for the production of premium wines. A unique ecosystem for the development of wines of excellence, where a careful selection of the grapes from the right terroir for each variety, favors obtaining high quality, complex and balanced wines.

Due to its noble and long course in time, it is a faithful representative of New World wineries, delivering excellent quality and consistence in each of its bottles.

Viña Tarapacá is part of the VSPT Wine Group, which has wineries in both Chile and Argentina, each with brands that are highly prestigious in the international market. VSPT Wine Group is Chile’s second largest wine exporter and is first in the national market for fine wines.

Viña Tarapacá fue fundada en 1874, a los pies de la Cordillera de los Andes, elaborando vinos que son reflejo de su tradición más que centenaria, unida a una contemporánea elegancia.

Nuestros viñedos están ubicados en el Valle del Maipo, el más tradicional y con las mejores cualidades en Chile para la elaboración de vinos premium. Un ecosistema único para el desarrollo de vinos de excelencia, donde la cuidadosa selección de las uvas del correcto terroir para cada variedad, favorece la obtención de vinos de alta calidad, complejos y balanceados.

Debido a su noble y extensa trayectoria, es una fiel representante de las viñas del Nuevo Mundo, entregando excelente calidad y consistencia en cada botella.
