Le domaine Lapierre, 11 hectares, figure parmi les plus cotés de la région en matière de viticulture bio et de vinification non interventionniste.
En 1973, Marcel Lapierre reprend l’exploitation familiale regroupant alors 7 hectares. À partir de 1981, sous l’impulsion du célèbre chercheur Jules Chauvet, il décide de cultiver ses vignes en biodynamie et de vinifier ses vins le plus naturellement possible, sans soufre, ni levurage. Ses cuvées de gamay sont pleines de fraîcheur et gorgées d’un fruit naturel exceptionnel.
About the winery
At a time dominated by the standardization of tastes, the aim of our process is authenticity.
By combining technical progress with old methods, “Domaine des Chênes” team reachs to make the white juice black Gamay express the originality of the region, ground composed of rotten rock (decomposed granite).
Heir of Villié-Morgon soil, the Morgon of our vineyard reveals dominating fragrances of cherry and liquorice, with a violet note for the “Côte du Py”.
The vineyard:
Located in Villié-Morgon, the vines are 45 years old in average and are extended on 11 hectares with 1 on “Côte du Py”.
- Cultivated with the “Organic” method, we are only undertaking (at the beginning of 2006) to do steps with certificating organizations.
- Furthermore, for 3 years, we are testing the bio dynamic on some lands of old vines.
- Since 2001, we are buying grapes on foot (hand harvest made by us) the harvesting of some good parcels of Morgon cultivated according to our ideal.
