Millesima USA was established in 2006 with the mission to bring to the U.S. market the unparalleled selection and dedicated service that has established its parent, Millésima S.A., as Europe’s undisputed leader in the sale of fine wine futures and grand cru wine directly to consumers.
Headquartered in New York, NY on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Millesima USA is under the leadership of Roger Bohmrich, M.W., one of America’s first Masters of Wine* and the only M.W. to manage a retail operation in New York (and one of just two in the United States).
Roger has created a unique portfolio for Millesima USA, including a wide selection of Bordeaux’s classified growths and the hand-picked “Discovery” and “Everyday Excellence” series featuring wines from France and around the world. The selection reflects Roger’s expertise and experience as a Master of Wine and his 25 plus years as a senior executive for a leading U.S. importer.
Millesima USA also specializes is the sale of wine futures with supply guaranteed through its parent company in Bordeaux. U.S. consumers are offered the same selection as in Europe, including 125 labels of Bordeaux’s finest wine ranging in formats from half bottles to Imperial.
In conjunction with the release of the 2009 Primeurs, Millesima has also made available to wine lovers a brand new technical application created to bring instant information directly to hand-held devices, while also enabling real-time purchases through the application.
Practical Information
We have regular in-store tastings on Thursday , 6 to 8 pm, and the wines we present are always of a high standard. Past themes include 2000 Bordeaux, 2001 Italian Reds, Spanish Reds from Leading Estates, Pinot Noir from Burgundy, California and Oregon, and many others. Please call ahead for the schedule. We would love to have you taste before you buy, or just stop in to visit or talk wine!
