Web Developper Wanted !


Vinogusto.com is a young company that promotes wine and its pleasures. Our major challenge is to create an online wine guide with the latest web technologies and to offer this innovating experience to European users in a first stage and then to worldwide users. The team composed by 3 persons under the age of 35 years. The site is online since several months now.

 

We wish to reinforce the core team of Vinogusto.com. The candidate will take in charge developments, tests and deployments, and analyses. By an “agile” methodology, we privilege effectiveness, autonomy, initiative and communication.

 

Principal activities:

  • New developments for vinogusto.com,
  • Writing of modular scripts, documented and effective,
  • Deployment of the developments and integration of scripts provided by third parties,
  • Performance follow-up of the developed code and the application,
  • Participation to the long-term thoughts about the application architecture development and technological choices (hard & software).

 

We desire to collaborate with a person

  • solution oriented (problem solving).

 

Profile:

  • A degree in IT or a similar level of experience
  • LAMP: PHP 4 & 5; MySQL 4 & 5
  • You are sensitive to ergonomic aspects of the web
  • You know what CSS and (x)HTML can do for Vinogusto.com
  • Knowledge in JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, PEAR is an advantage (scriptaculous)
  • Experience with the environments LAMP and WAMP (and their administration) is an advantage
  • You approached the principles of software design and of systems of versioning (Subversion)
