Vinexus - Infinity of Wine Duitsland : « This black berry grape variety has become famous for its unmistakable “softness”. Produced only with grapes from its own vineyards in the most renowned areas of the Valdadige, north of the Garda lake, this grape variety has always been cultivated in Venetia. Nonetheless, it is only recently that producers have started devoting attention to it and selecting clones that generate richer grapes hence considerably reducing the production per stump. Elegant wine with a great personality and with pleasant notes of soft fruit.Colour: Average intensity ruby red. Nose: Vinous, intense with notes of prunes, blackcurrant and blackberry. Taste: Full and velvety, harmonious with moderate tannins and sensations of ripe fruits.Winemaking technique: Traditional technique used for red grapes with maceration on the skins (6/7 days), fermentation at controlled temperature (26/28°C) and maturing in stainless steel containers for 6/8 months.Storing: In general it is best to drink this wine when it is fairly young, in order to fully appreciate the fragrance and integrity of the fruit. However, the potential of this wine remains unaltered for a few years. Our recommendation is to keep the bottle in horizontal position and stored in a dark, fresh place at fixed humidity and temperature. »

Girlan Filadonna Pinot Grigio 2008

Wine.com : « White Wine by Girlan from Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy. A dry white wine with a pale-yellow color: clean, intense aroma and dry flavor with elegant body and a velvety feel on the palate. Excellent as an aperitif, ideal accompaniment to seafood salads, fish and shellfish-based pasta and rice courses: perfect with white meats and boiled or grilled fish and with souffles. Girlan's grapes grow on the rolling hills of the sun-drenched Oltradige region of Italy, where the soil is particularly permeable to water. Situated on ideal altitudes ranging from 400 to 500 meters above sea level, the soil here is enriched with the valuable nutrients necessary for the healthy growth of sun-ripened grapes. Due to its privileged climate, this area is able to produce great wines, a fact first discovered by the Romans. The magnificent climate and distinctive soil types, as well as tradition and savoir-faire, make these wines ideal for the enjoyment of wine lovers. »
