Rosé wines : Anjou-Villages

The area covered by the Anjou Villages AOC stretches across 43 communes in the Maine-et-Loire and 3 in the Deux-Sèvres. The delimited area incorporates the areas of the AOC Coteaux du Layon, Anjou Coteaux de la Loire and Savennières AOCS, as well as certain border limit communes.

The wines are made from Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. They have a deep ruby red robe, fine notes of red fruits and flowers (iris, violet) developing towards complex aromas (black fruits, earthy undergrowth …). Sometimes they are fresh and finely tannic on the palate, although with an ample and fleshy tendency.
