Red wines : Minervois

Between the Black Mountain and the Aude river doubled of the Channel of the South the Minervois vineyards produce very varied wines. The reds, strongly majority with more than 90% can be light, flexible and fruity , but you will find also wines constructed which take age agreeably by preserving their red fruit notes.

AOC since 1985, the reds and the rosé expenses and gouleyants are elaborate mainly starting from the type of vines Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Lladoner pelut, Carignan, Cinsault, black Picpoul, Terret and Aspiran.
The white have much smoothness and elegance . They are elaborate mainly starting from the type of vines Grenache, Bourboulenc (known as Malvoisie), Maccabeu, Marsanne, Roussanne and Vermentino (known as Rolle).
