Vinexus - Infinity of Wine Duitsland : « Champagne's only white grape variety, Chardonnay, has a different character according to its growing area. The vintage expresses the year’s typical qualities and reveals the character of the “terroir”. BLEND: This single grape variety wine is made up of 100% Chardonnay giving it elegance and finesse. CRUS: A selection of 20-50 single crus are combined in this Cuvée. AGEING AND WINEMAKING: At Nicolas Feuillatte, the Vintage Blanc de Blancs ages for a minimum of 6 years, although the legislation imposes a minimum ageing period of only 3 years. COLOUR: Subtle pale green hue, with fine and abundant bubbles. NOSE: The Chardonnay gives off mineral aromas, such as the chalk on which it thrives, or gratifies us with some exotic flavours in more continental climates, including hints of flowers such as may blossom and acacia. You often may find some more subtle scents too, like citrus fruit, pear or even lime blossom. PALATE: Full-bodied, lively, fresh, and strong. THE WINEMAKER’S COMMENTS: This Cuvée is characterized by generosity and smoothness. The Chardonnay entirely reveals itself through the flavours of white fruits, citrus and floral aromas. »
