Pessac-Léognan is like the place where wine growing began in Bordeaux. Pessac-Léognan is the incarnation of excellence in Bordeaux dry white wines. The aromas of these fine wines are rich and diverse (broom flower, hazelnut, citrus, acacia, beeswax, peach and nectarine). In the mouth, they are as complex as they are intense, with a long aromatic finish.
For the reds, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are equal partners in the blends of this AOC, with a particularly wonderful result: a cherry red robe, often containing hints of very ripe red berries and violet, with a smoky bouquet of grilled almonds and resin. These wines are fleshy and balanced, with structured tannins, and a long and pleasant finish.
