Wines : Bordeaux Clairet

Bordeaux Clairets are light, voluptuous, fresh and very aromatic wines with a luminous ruby colour. They are a lighter, more aromatic version of Bordeaux AOC wines.

With very little tannins, they offer a rich and stimulating bouquet of strawberry, red currant or pomegranate, with occasional notes of peony or rose. In the mouth, these wines are fresh, light, silky, with a moderate tannic structure. Easy to drink, Bordeaux Clairets are are perfect for picnics and barbecues.

Made from blends of the same grape varieties as red Bordeaux AOC wines, wherein Merlot often dominates, lending Bordeaux Clairets a more fruity and intensely aromatic character.
