Si l’entreprise a été créée par un seul homme, elle a été menée avec des hommes. Les vignobles André Lurton sont conduits par une équipe jeune et compétente avec des cadres de haut niveau. Tous sont attentifs, sérieux, discrets et modestes (la plus belle vertu dans un monde de « frime »). André Lurton leur accorde son entière confiance.

Fermentation : In stainless-steel temperature-controlled tanks with patented cap-breaking system
Duration : Approximately 3 weeks (subject to vintage and ripeness of tannins)
Maturation : For 12 months in oak barrels (50% new) with racking
Fining : Eggwhites
Aging : Subject to vintage, begins to be expressive between 3 and 5 years, can age 10 to 15 years

Although at the outset the company was one man's brainchild, it is in fact a collective endeavour. Vignobles André Lurton is run by a young, dynamic team of highly-skilled managers. Each and every one is attentive, rational, discreet and modest (a sterling quality in an ego-driven environment!). Understandably, André Lurton favours them with his total confidence.

2005	Lurton      Leognan  (France)   Producer tasting note Robe : Intense red Elegant nose, shows extremely classy smoky notes. Explosive berry palate, with spice and licorice. Tannins well integrated though still a little austere, will mellow after a few more years.
