  D'après Robert Parker, faudrait en acheter...vous dites quoi, vous ???
  Wow, what a sexy wine! Deep ruby/purple, with a glorious nose of kirsch liqueur, caramel, and toast, this sweet, expansive, medium to full-bodied wine marries elegance and power brilliantly. The acidity is low, the fruit ripe, the tannins integrated, and the impression one of sumptuous, concentrated fruit. Drink it over the next decade. This is the best La Vieille Cure made to date.   'Wow, what a sexy wine!' zegt R.Parker in zijn review van april 2003. Echt lekker, met veel vruchten, chocolade, koffie...warm en zacht. Ik koop wel een paar flessen van de Colruyt (16.99 EUR ipv 19.50 EUR tot de 14de oktober 2007). Wat de Colruyt zegt : 'In 2000 werd de merlot perfect rijp geplukt en dat proeft u duidelijk in deze soepele fronsac. Fraaie, donkerrode kleurspiegel met amper evolutie en een boeket met tedere geuren: zwart fruit (braambessen-confituur), verse toost, beetje truffel en humus, en iets dierlijks. In de smaak valt vooral het vele en rijpe zwarte fruit op. De wijn is zacht, sappig en rond. De tannines zijn er maar ze zijn bijna fluwelig. Vrij lange afdronk met lichte houttoets. Let ook op de aangename frisheid die de wijn heel elegant houdt. Nu op z'n best en u kan hem nog 3 à 5 jaar bewaren.'
