I have said it before, there is nothing like a Rhône wine for me, they seem to resonate with me more than any other. Perhaps it is because we have traveled to that area and loved it, perhaps because it is really a farmer’s wine and I am a peasant at heart. Loads of fruit on the nose and the minerals that make up the terroir, and your mouth appreciates the respectable tannins that accent blackberries and ripe cherries. The wine store only had 4 bottles left and I’m going back to buy them!
