An exciting nose with smoke, toasty vanilla barrel notes, and hints of animal fur. Very lively, full-bodied Nuits-St Georges oozes with black cherry fruit and notes of rich plum yet nonetheless remains nicely balanced. Solid texture and marked acidity.
