Dark and full of summer herbs and smoke, concentrated blackberry, cedar and spice. The mouth is one of licorice and fruit with a smoky undertone and a hint of eucalyptus. This is a very pleasant and food friendly wine. It goes as well with meat as it does with fowl or just some cheese and crackers. I have tasted this particular wine twice with the same results - yum! The French Rhône, and Rhône-like wines never fail to please me.
