Great deal at Aldi Supermarkets in Belgium

What Robert Parker says: "Another sleeper of the vintage, this up-and-coming estate in the southern Medoc has fashioned a deep ruby/purple-hued, opulent, medium-bodied 2006 displaying rich, sweet black currant fruit intermixed with underbrush, licorice, and subtle oak, and a heady finish. Couleur: La robe est d’un rouge pourpre profond.Nez: Le premier nez, subtil marrie agréablement les arômes de fruits rouges aux notes toastées et fumées apparaissant à l’agitation.Bouche: L’attaque est suave et généreuse. Les tanins, ronds et puissants, apparaissent aussi très élégants. La finale, longue et toastée nous rappelle les parfums de fruits rouges initiaux."
