Cabernet Sauvignon, originally from Bordeaux, France, this is currently the most ubiquitous variety on a worldwide scope, a feat that is largely due to the fact that Cabernet was able to adapt successfully to almost every type of soil. When young, its most pervasive trait is the forcefulness of its tannins, which tend to soften over time and give way to exceptional, elegant, good-bodied, flavorful and round wines characterized by pepper, black fruit and cassis notes.

When I read the other Vinogusto users' comments it looks like time helped the wine gain balance - or is it the service temperature?
Lots of fruit on the nose, a hint of greenness, concentrated and with some freshness, soft tanins, no excess of alcohol in the aftertaste, pretty pleasant though not surprising. I actually found it pretty easy-drinking and designed to please most people, at a barbecue or with Cannelloni.
