  Une robe rubis violacée qui tend vers le noir. Un léger manque de limpidité laisse deviner un filtrage pas complet. Au nez, torréfaction et cacao, poivrons verts, bois et épices. Le tout bien équilibré et complexe. En bouche, une attaque puissante avec bon équilibre entre les fruits rouges et la fraîcheur. Tanins très fins en bouche. On soupçonne une évolution linéaire pendant 4-5 ans avant une descente assez rapide. Certainement agréable avec des viandes grasses et/ou fromages à pâte dure.
