A mix of red and white grapes - hence the name black & white
Surprisingly the color is very very dark, the bouquet is full of mature fruit (plum) and spicy. The first sensation in the mouth is strength - a bit too much to my liking - even though the aftertaste is more civilized, with good freshness. The wine deserves decanting some time to take out all that aggressiveness, or a strong countryside meal (maybe a lamb stew).
Interesting but not captivating....
