  Pourpre, très bonne saturation. Compact, fermé, il offre un nez de cuir et de chêne pendant un bon moment, avant de gagner des notes discrètes de fruit noir, myrtilles. La bouche est tannique, structurée, mais elle semble manquer de densité et de poids en milieu de palais, les saveurs de chêne se mêlent à un caractère de chocolat en fin de bouche.
