This wine has a nice dark ruby color, smells of smoke, plum, currants and a dash of dried herbs, black cherries, black berries. It has firm tannins.
Vintage 2008 won the Gold Medal (Concours Général Agricole, Paris 2010); vintage 2006 is matured enough to drink right now.
