Familles viticoles très anciennes, les EBLIN et les FUCHS sont liées depuis 1956 à la suite du mariage de Marie Madeleine FUCHS (prononcez Foux) et de Henri Joseph EBLIN. L'arbre généalogique de la famille EBLIN remonte à 1294, date de dépôt des armoiries. Celui des FUCHS, depuis 1615, date de leur installation comme vignerons à ZELLENBERG. Les fils José Henri et Christian ont choisi de poursuivre la tradition viticole et sont les exploitants actuels de l'entreprise viticole.

Aujourd'hui ZELLENBERG est surtout connue pour ses vins issus de terroirs bien exposés, bénéficiant d'un microclimat favorable, car l'un des plus sec de France, et d'une géologie riche et intéressante.

About the winery

Both coming from a wine-producing family from generation to generation, the Eblin and Fuchs have been related since 1956 after the union of Madeleine Fuchs (pronounce Foux) and Henri Joseph Eblin. The descendants of the Eblin family can be traced back to 1294, date of the arms registration. The Fuchs family came to Zellenberg in 1615 and began their winery activity the same year. The sons, Jose Henri and Christian have decided to keep on with the wine-making tradition. They are the current owners of the company.

Nowadays, Zellenberg is especially known for its wines coming from sunny lands and benefiting from a very good microclimate (among the driest in France). It also enjoys the rich soil of the “Ribeauville field fracture” that arouses every geologist interest.
