**** Very good
Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to...
Celebrated my birthday at a local Italian eatery with this terrific wine. Needs time to open up (about an hour) but when it does there is so much mineral and herbs, flowers and berries that you cannot take it in. The nose is the typical Brunello, sharp and smelling of the dirt and the finish is long and luxurious. Nothing accompanies Osso Buco like one of the stellar Tuscan wines. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny.
