About the winery

Cono Sur Vineyards & Winery was founded in 1993, with the vision of producing premium, expressive and innovative wines conveying the spirit of the New World. Our name refers to the company’s geographic position; it represents wines proudly made in South America’s Southern Cone, on whose western edge lies Chile and its gifted wine valleys. Our logo is a freehand drawing of the silhouette of South America.

Right from the start Cono Sur applied new ideas and technology to winemaking traditional methods. Our main goal, therefore, is to create expressive and innovative wines from the world’s southernmost land.

Sobre la bodega

Viña Cono Sur fue fundada en 1993, con la visión de producir vinos Premium, expresivos e innovadores, que comuniquen el espíritu del Nuevo Mundo. Nuestro nombre hace referencia a nuestros orígenes geográficos, a vinos que provienen del Cono Sur de América en cuyo extremo occidental se encuentran Chile y sus privilegiados valles vitivinícolas. Nuestro logo también sugiere en su trazo la silueta de América del Sur.

Desde el comienzo Cono Sur aplicó nuevas ideas y tecnologías a los tradicionales métodos enológicos, con el fin de crear vinos expresivos e innovadores, provenientes de la tierra más austral del planeta.

2005	Tom Burnakis      Jacksonville  (United States)   Not bad for $10 Cannot say anything great about this wine nor can I say anything bad. It delivered admirably for a $10 wine with good fruit and a pleasant nose. Some reliance on oak and vanilla and a fairly murky finish, but an enjoyable enough wine with burgers and corn. Tom Burnakis has discoverd this vintage. 1 year ago
