Little brother of Mas de Daumas Gassac red
A biodynamic wine, Cabernet (50%), Merlot (30%),Grenache (20%) harvested by hand, no filtration, It has the nose of red berries and wildflowers. Fruit forward, mild acidity and strong tannins. I drank it young so I got more of the primary fruit, the grower suggests waiting 3 or 4 years for the “secondary aromas”. Very pleasant with a light meal of artichokes and bread. If this gets better with time it would be a fantastic wine.
