About the winery

Four generations of the Osborn family have been involved in wine production in McLaren Vale.  The third and fourth generation are currently working on the property and selling the wine with a fifth generation waiting in the wings.  Alicia, Ruby and Mia Osborn are probably a little young at the moment (all are under the age of 15) but already they love exploring the winery and riding their bikes through the vineyards, and clearly have an affection for the business of their fore bearers.

Niet voor niets wordt Chester Osborne wordt in binnen-en buitenland gevraagd zijn advies te geven. De naam van deze wijn verwijst naar de een ploeg, genaamd the Stump Jump. Deze ploeg kon over alles heenploegen.

Wine.com Red Wine by d'Arenberg from McLaren Vale, Australia. The nose features plum and bright red fruits with a hint of roasted meats, earth, pepper and exotic spices. The palate has some wonderful delicate fruit with blackberry joining the party. A touch of dried herbs adds a savory edge with fine, lifted tannins providing a long finish. It's cracking wine with sophistication-but don't worry it's still a lot of fun. Varietal Blend: Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvedre
