About the winery

Our origins go back to 1958, the year the Cooperative of Borja was founded, which has through years been the forerunner of the mythical brand Borsao.

In the year 2001, Borsao went on to obtain its own legal status with the creation of the company Bodegas Borsao S.A., comprising of the cooperatives of Borja, Pozuelo and Tabuenca, thereby joining efforts, resources and means, that combined with the experience and potential of the vineyards of the 3 wine cellars has enabled the development of a new work philosophy that has gained us international recognition and prestige.

Sobre la bodega

Nuestro origen se remonta a 1958, fecha de fundación de la Cooperativa de Borja, la cual ha sido a lo largo de los años la precursora de la mítica marca Borsao.

Posteriormente, en el año 2001, Borsao pasó de ser una mera marca comercial a tener su propia personalidad jurídica con la creación de la sociedad Bodegas Borsao S.A., que integra a las Cooperativas de Borja, Pozuelo y Tabuenca, aunando así esfuerzos, recursos y medios, que junto con la experiencia y potencialidad de los viñedos de las 3 bodegas han permitido desarrollar una nueva filosofía de trabajo que nos ha guiado al reconocimiento y prestigio internacional.
