Consumer Reviews - Byron Pinot Noir 2001

**** Very good
A poetic Byron
Smooth, rich and concentrated, with a smooth core of plum, blackberry and wild berry shaded by toasty, smoky oak. The finish, where it turns complex and plush aided by silky tannins lingers and dares you to take more (I took that dare!). A 2003 Wine Spectator Top 100 and well deserving. I probably waited a bit long to drink it, but it lost nothing in the wait.
