This wine has so much wood that it overpowers all other aroma's. I always wonder why a winemaker would add so much oak to a wine. Perhaps to hide that it's in fact a poor wine?
For me this wine is undrinkable. If I would open such a bottle at home, it would end up in the sink, regardless of the price. It cannot even be used for cooking, because it would add an oak taste to your food.
