The complex nose has aromas of ripe, red fruits and cassis as well as plums and an earthy/spicy character. The tastes - dark berries, smoke and well integrated oak are very rich and mouth-filling. The fruit is supported with soft tannins with a very long and harmonious finish. Wonderful with a grilled steak and mushrooms. Let it sit and get some air and it opens up even more.
