Herbs, earth and a mixture of fruit and floral or wood notes. I get black cherries, chocolate, and minerality. This is a blend of 70% merlot, 25% cabernet sauvignon and 5% cabernet franc. The merlot makes it fruity and the cabernet franc adds minerals and pepper to balance it. Interestingly enough the lable must have changed for the US version because the other one I see reviewed on Vinogusto look completely different and a bit more "traditional".
