I am very interested to hear comments about this amarone. I purchased a case, and the first bottle was a wine very significantly different from any of the other amarone I have tasted over the years. Described as dry on the site whence it came, I would say it was on the extreme end of dry I'm afraid. It had none of the typical, characteristic raisin qualities one has come to expect from, for example, a Masi Costasera, an Alpha Zeta, or a Speri or Tedeschi. Could somebody furnish an opinion please.
