The Rosé of this producer impressed me enough that I had to try the red. It is a combination of Cabernet sauvignon, Grenache and Syrah and has the pleasant earthy nose of the Rhone wines. The fruit is not as forward as some of the “bigger” CDR, but then there is not any Mourvèdre either. The mouth is crisp and the finish pleasant. A good wine for almost any dish.
