This is a GSM from California and it is, like a lot of its Aussie brothers, an absolute fruit bomb. Lots of dark cherry, black raspberry, and floral notes on the nose, but the tongue is pure fruit. Mouth feel is silky, almost heavy. Like some of the very ripe wines (its 14.5% alcohol) there was almost too much fruit. It went better with a heavier pork roast than a pork chop and pasta.
