overpowered..

The fruitiness of the bouquet was overpowered by the wood and alcohol of this wine. On the palate the aggressive acidity left and long, bitter aftertaste and the tannins almost paralysed the tongue.. A wine to be eaten with a juicy piece of red meat and nothing less..
