**** Very good
Pesquié not pesky...
Dark red but transparent, this is a full fruit and mineral wine. It has cherry and blackberry for fruit, as well as some spice notes. Very clean finish with a lingering freshness. This is one of those wines I drink if I want to be back in France in my mind at least. I have had the 2004 and I much prefer the 2001.

*** Good
Dark, dark red and lots of dark fruit, plum, cassis, black cherry. The nose is typically Rhône, with some yeasty undertones and earth. Some tannins at the close but very pleasant. Let it sit for a while to open up and it gets even better. I have had other years and each one has been great, so I am sure I’ll have keep buying it in the future.
