Very Shiraz, smoky, peppery, dark fruit and vanilla. These are the same folks who bring the great “Goats do Roam” and “Goats do Roam in Villages” which are attractive for both their price and taste. This “step up” wine certainly doesn’t disappoint. Waiting until 2007 may have been too long for this wine, but it lost nothing in the wait. Drink with Pork or alone, it doesn’t matter. It might be too powerful (some astringency at the end) for lighter fare, but hey drink something else with that.
