About the winery

Our domaine comprises 17 hectares, mainly lying in the Côte Chalonnaise, but partly, also, in the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. We grow 20 appellations.

Since 2001, we have chosen, in the interest of the vines and the soil, to use no more herbicides. And, as a further step down the eco-friendly route, 60% of the domaine is now (2008) worked by organic methods. Satisfied with results to date, we expect to apply for organic certification in 2009. Vineyard work is regulated by the lunar calendar. When harvest time approaches, we do not hesitate to pick late. The aim is to let the grapes attain full maturity so as to yield wines that are taut, attractive, with a pleasing minerality and the proper touch of acidity.
