Wine Advocate #188, April 2010
Another “best ever” effort in my professional career, the 2009 Gazin-Rocquencourt possesses a deep ruby/purple color as well as a beautifully scented bouquet of cedar wood, forest floor, black cherries, and cassis, sweet tannins, a plump, full-bodied mouthfeel, and a nicely textured palate that builds incrementally without any heaviness. This wine should drink well for 10-15 years. (Tasted once.)
