About the winery

Casa de la Ermita was founded in 1999, steming from a project set by a family whose past has always been linked to agriculture. Our cellars and their vineyards are situated in El Carche, within the range of one of the highest mountains in the whole of the region of Murcia, which is also a Protected National Park.

The bi-centenarian olive tree growing at the doors to the wine cellars of Casa de la Ermita became our inspiration to develop our image. A symbol which joins the agricultural tradition of Jumilla, with the up-to-date technologies used in our cellars to produce wines of excellent quality, taking the utmost care in achieving the best process of elaboration.

Sobre la bodega

La bodega, rodeada de nuestros viñedos, está ubicada a más de 700 metros de altitud, donde flora y fauna conviven en un ambiente irrepetible. Cuenta con un parque de 4.200 barricas de 225 litros cada una, tres prensas neumáticas, equipo de frío, embotelladora de 5000 b/hra y capacidad en depósitos para 2.500 Miles litros.

La uva entra en la bodega a 8 m de altura, y el proceso de vinificación se realiza por gravedad. El proceso de elaboración dura entre 10 y 15 días con temperatura controlada obteniendo así vinos complejos y sabrosos, con buena aptitud para la crianza.

Dans le plus grand respect de la nature, les vignes sont traitées aux phéromones naturelles plutôt qu\'aux - pesticides pour contrôler les insectes. Les raisins sont soigneusement sélectionnés, et le vin vieillit pendant 3 mois en fût de chêne. La couleur est rouge pourpre, presque opaque. Des arômes de framboises, de poivre noir, de violette et de mûre comblent le nez. Puissant et corsé, ce vin possède une grande structure et une persistante très fruitée. Un super-rapport qualité prix. -
