Love the Languedoc

I make no bones about it, I love Rhône and “Rhône-like” wines. This dark Languedoc beauty is no exception, with Syrah and Grenache making it a fruit forward delight, but then tannins and acidity bring it back into balance. The nose is all earth and floral, particularly reminiscent of that area of France. This was excellent with some snapper and just as enjoyable alone.
