Not a favorite

Dark currant and tobacco flavors turn somewhat bittersweet on the finish. This was a muscular wine and I wanted to like it, but I could not get the notion of a symphony where several of the instruments played far too loudly and ruined the effect. This may be someone else’s cup of tea (or rather wine) but not mine.
