The objective of this wine is to reproduce the profile of the Mosel Rieslings, with low alcohol and residual sugar, in the Vinho Verde region with the Alvarinho grape variety. And the results are quite convincing! The wine, with 9% vol., shows delicate fruit, some sweetness balanced by an amazing acidity. Served chilled, it's ideal for an end of summer afternoon! I'd say the major difference with its German model is that it doesn't show (yet?) those delightful mineral notes. I will leave one bottle rest in the cellar to see the evolution.....
