Bouche moelleuse, savoureuse, se développant plutôt aromatique et fondante sans la dureté tannique présente par le passé. Finale longue, aux tannins puissants mais fins. Ce vin a beaucoup changé. On dit que des parcelles situées sur grave mais assez éloignées de la propriété sont venues compléter son assemblage. C'est plutôt heureux.. 2009 est le plus grand millésime de cette propriété. Rating : 16 - 16,25 |

Il s'agit de hisser La Tour Carnet, d'une superficie totale de 126 hectares pour 48 hectares de vignes, non seulement au niveau d'excellence reconnu aux grandes heures de ses huit siècles d'existence, mais aussi d'exalter l'un des terroirs les plus originaux du Médoc par toute les connaissances et techniques d'aujourd'hui. Afin de continuer, pour selon les termes de sa précédente propriétaire des lieux,Marie-Claire Pèlegrin, de tailler ce diamant...Le millésime 2009 de La tour Carnet offre un nez explosif boisé, aux arômes puissants de fruits rouges et noirs. Robert Parker Wine Advocate #188, April 2010 The finest wine made here since the 2005, the 2009 (a blend of 53% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot) was harvested between September 29 and October 22. Its dense purple color is followed by abundant aromas of camphor, charcoal, barrique, blackberries, and creme de cassis. Dense, structured, and full-bodied with high, but sweet, well-integrated tannins, and tremendous precision as well as freshness, this 2009 should evolve for 20-25 years. (Tasted three times.)
